Standard Cirrus VH-GOT
NSW State Comps 2005
This is the glider that went through the
'Accidental Bail-Out'. The pilot was
adjusting an instrument with screw driver
and dropped it. He couldn't reach it so
undid his harness, lent forward, and pushed
the stick forward. He went straight
through the canopy. The glider flew lazy
inverted circles all the way to the ground.
There have been worse damaged gliders from
groundloops! (Nick Gilbert)
